The Queer Voices of the North Film Festival just received a contribution of $500.00 from the CAW Local 1120 to help us achieve our 2010 objectives!

Local 1120 is an Amalgamated Local with approximately 1230 members working in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Emergency Medical Services, Retirement Homes and Union offices, in Elliot Lake, Thessalon, Sault Ste. Marie and Wawa.

Thanks to such overwhelming support over the years, our festival has screened many excellent films working toward our goal of fostering conversation on issues relevant to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and otherwise queer communities in the North.
