QVOTN Film Festival 2009
Â

Queer Voices 2009, our 4th annual festival, was the first year the festival was spread over more than one day.
QVOTNFF kicked off with Gus Van Sant’s Milk, screened at Galaxy Cinemas on Thursday, February 19th to a sold out crowd, and Robert Ménard’s Cruising Bar. As always, our screenings are by donation, so that helped get a crowd out. But oddly enough, most people must have paid more for their tickets than they would for a regular ticket - But hey, that’s just fine, since we usually operate at a deficit anyway!
Saturday we screened several shorts at Arcadia Coffee House:
Books of James by Ho Tam
Debwewin Gekendaman - Our Place in the Circle by Lorne Olson
In Four Years (Adjectives & Adverbs) by Cam Matamoros
Feminist by Nolan Natasha
Completely Shocked by Nolan NatashaÂ
Two Spirited by Sharon Desjarlais
