Welcome to Queer Voices of the North
Queer Voices of the North Film Festival is hosted annually in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. We are Northern Ontario's only queer film festival, and we're gearing up for our 5th, most exciting year ever.

In addition to a lineup of provoking, acclaimed films, including Laugh in the Dark, Girl Inside, The Baby Formula, and are partnering with the Centre for Digital Storytelling to hold a 3-day workshop for ten self-identified queer youth in Sault Ste. Marie and area to create short films telling their personal stories. The films will be screened at the Festival, and available for viewing through YouTube and our website.

2010 Digital Storytelling Workshop
This year we're looking for ten exceptional queer youth in the Sault Ste Marie area to participate in a workshop to write, film and edit a personal story with the guidance of experts from the Center for Digital Storytelling.
The workshop will be held March 23rd-25th.
To qualify you just have to self-identify as queer and be under the age of 30.
